Question to Luis or any other Twitter-experienced person.... If I have text messages I receive fairly regularly from a single source and I want to FORWARD these messages to all my Twitter followers, is this possible?

Can I set it up with my cell phone provider (AT&T in my case... but that can change if I need to) to have all the text messages received from a certain source to be forwarded to my Twitter account?

Thanks, in advance, for your opinions and recommendations.

[...] For the past weeks I have been experimenting with Twitter and Facebook. I have checked out the value of statuses (Facebook) and tweets (Twitter) over these two social network tools. For those of you who do not know, Facebook is a social network platform which lets one not only to add friends and content, but also add an actual status. Equal to Twitter, it allows only a limited number of characters and it is often used to express emotions, things you do, or raise questions. I wrote some while ago a post questioning whether Twitter makes sense or not? I have to say I have changed my opinion at a certain extent and now I believe Twitter and statuses can really enhance your social network experience. [...]

As a teen pop singer, I am on a lot of sites to help promote my music. And I agree with Joe, that Twitter is nice in its simplicity!

Luis, your blog is awesome!

"I think that Twitter is very useful but why they don’t add comment system for it?"

Because the whole point of Twitter is its simplicity.

If you add comments, why not titles? And then, why not tags? And photos and video? And why not up the character limit to 256?

Before you know it, it's not Twitter any more.

[...] July 19th, 2007 Toddlers explore a dozen different ways to use a new toy. Twitter is an oddly seductive new toy. Twitterers - and non-Twitterers - are busy looking for productive ways to use it. Some find it can offer personal wellbeing, support networking, amuse professionals, or create “social proprioception”. Others find out that it’s better not to bang yourself on the head with it . [...]
