Steven, I am not sure if you have thought about this or not, but with Google Talk now integrated into GMail and able to talk to some other Jabber users it may well be a very good option. If not you would have to give us some more details as to what other IM protocols are you trying to access. Good luck !

Hello Jeni, thanks for dropping by and sharing your comments. Actually I am not really sure I would be able to help out since you didn’t seem to provide much information about the current IM sites that your school filters. Perhaps if you could mention the ones that get filtered now we may be able to help out some more. Can you share with us what other IM sites your school is filtering ? Thanks !
