[...] I cannot believe that another year has gone by just like that! Yes, that is right, folks. Today it is elsua.net’s second anniversary!! A day like today in October 2005 elsua.net was going live on the Internet. After 2.5 years of blogging internally behind the firewall, I finally decided, back then, to dive into the Internet blogosphere and join the crowds. Now, two years later, it still feels as if it was yesterday! Yet a few things have changed and quite a bit! [...]

[...] Yes, folks, believe it or not, it is that time of the year. October 10th 2005 I decided that it was about time for me to get started with my own Internet weblog having it hosted on its own and without having to depend on other popular services. What it all started with an Intranet weblog in December 2003, then into a personal weblog over at Blogsome, it then evolved into having my own weblog and one year later here I am celebrating the first anniversary of elsua! It has been an incredible experience thus far, I tell you. With 416 weblog posts and 697 weblog comments put together in 23 categories and the stunning number of nearly 25.000 spam messages that Akismet has religiously been deleting all along.
[...] If you remember, from the very first beginning of elsua, I mentioned in the first weblog post how I was using for the last few months a hosted weblog over at Blogsome to have a look and try things for a little while before I would jump into creating, maintaining my own Internet weblog. And for over seven months I was quite happy with giving it a try and share some content to the point where in the end I decided to dive in in full force and then elsua was born. [...]
